NPRC: Natural Product Research Consultants

This site is the initial prototype for the NPRC website, a natural product research consultancy.

The site was built with RapidWeaver 5, using the Blueball "FreeStack" theme, for maximum flexibility. It has a full page image background, and built-in content management via Google Docs, PageLime and other technologies.

This site is at the very early stages of design, and will likely undergo many changes before completion. All images, text, etc., are merely placeholders, awaiting replacement by actual content.

Work in Progress: Sue Perry – Paintings

Currently on the drawing board is a website for the Seattle / Paris based painter Sue Perry. Ms. Perry has spent a lifetime creating arresting images of her immediate environs, whether that be Paris, India, Spain, England, New York or her home town of Seattle. Her paintings present not only a traditional Realist approach to their subjects, but are imbued with her emotional, aesthetic and philosophical concerns as well.

Technical notes:

This website is being built with RapidWeaver 5, using the seyDoggy "Cre4my" theme. "Cre4my" has built-in jQuery libraries for presenting portfolios of images in a prettyPhoto lightbox style, and other premium amenities. I've included both html and flash based galleries in the site. The flash based galleries use SlideShow Pro, with images being optimized and delivered on the fly from a mySQL database, via SSP Director. The homepage is a live Wordpress blog, where Ms. Perry can share works-in-progress, thoughts, writings, news and updates.

Design notes are intended as brief decscriptions of working materials and methods, and a basic preview of websites that are currently under construction. Entries will track progress and illuminate design decisions as they are made or contemplated, based on discussions between suzumebachi design and our clients.

The works herein presented are not intended to be viewed as finished sites, or even as more than working drafts. Their sole function is to facilitate the design process, and provide a supplement to the live site prototypes that are presented to the client during the design / construction phase.
